We offer surf lessons all year around (based on conditions) to beginner, intermediate or the traveling surfer looking for uncrowded waves and what san clemente has to offer.We will teach you ocean awareness,water safety,beach appreciation and surf etiquette.
Private Surf Lesson Includes
The 15 minute land instruction includes detailed ocean awareness preparation
paddling techniques,pop up,stance,ride to shore,duck diving,wave selection & more paddling

I looked for surfboard rentals while passing through San Clemente and found a link to his shop. Had no real expectations but; to get a decent surfboard and at a reasonable price. Matt met and exceeded them. He went out of his way to pick up new boards, ones’ I recommended and got back to me as quickly as he could. Only issue I had was the type of construction of the board. Still had fun that day and highly recommend you check him out when in town. He gives great advise due to his local knowledge and is straight up when I dealt with him.
Matt is a super knowledgeable and super passionate guy. Hooks you up with the right boards at the right price and gives plenty of advice from where to surf to where to grab a meal

My friend and I walked in and asked for board rentals They and got us in the water in 20 minutes to get some surfing before the tide came all the way in. He made sure we could paddle out, time a green wave, and pop up. The next day he looked up the surf report for us and sent us down to Old Man’s and told us to paddle all the way out to catch the first breakers and ride the longest waves. They really helped us make the most of the situation at our beginner skill level, and we really benefitted from his long local experience. P.S. get the booties, because the stingrays are nasty without them.
